Itinerary
Day 1: Upon ArrivalSiem Reap (L, D)
Upon your arrival will be met by our guide and transfer to your hotel for checking in. After check in will follow the itinerary by visitation Tonle Sap Lake, Asia’s largest inland lake also the biggest harvest fresh water fish in the world, which swells to ten times its normal size during the wet season; here you will visit the people living, school, hospital, church, fishing farm, crocodile farm, souvenir shop in the floating village then back in town to visit Les Artisan D’Angkor to observe student learning of art carving
Spend the full afternoon to visit The orphanage now helping around 80 orphans from 2 to 18 years old, orphans here they have to earn money by themselves by make souvenir things (by leather) and sell it around Angkor Tourist temples, market or around the streets.
Hard CIP Teaching English and hygiene to local children, Exchange the dance, songs and games
– Sit down with groups and share the stories, feelings and dreams among the groups between Singapore students and orphans in Orphanage.
Soft CIP Learning how to do the souvenir things following by the local students to learn how to leather the skin to make rabbit, bird, cat or flower for souvenir that will be teaching by the local student in the Little Angle Orphanage. Then you will understand how hard their work and how their life in an Orphanage.Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 2: Siem Reap – Local Primary School for CIP (B/L/D)
In the morning having breakfast we will proceed from the hotel, then transfer to the local primary school for CIP.
Upon arrival at the school our group will be split into 2 group for Soft and Hard CIP:
Soft CIP (Interaction group): Teaching simple English via songs, games, to the local children as well as making Hygiene Session. This group will work under the helping translation of 1 local English speaking guide. (You will have to try your best and your community skills to interact with local children without translators for sometime)
Hard CIP (Construction group): Will follow by Carpenters to re-painting the tables /chairs /benches as well as the reading corner for the whole day of our CIP at the local school, following by polishing/painting and nailing for some time. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 3: Siem Reap – Angkor & Departure (B/L)
in the morning after having breakfast will proceed by checking out from the hotel then starting the tour by visitation Angkor Thom from South Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper King, Royal Enclosure then proceed to the jungle temple Ta Promh and Angkor Wat is the seven wonder of the world that was built on 12th century to be the funerary temple and home of god
After having lunch will transfer to the airport for their departure flight to Singapore. The end of our services!
