Itinerary
The purpose of this School Trip is to give students a chance to visit Hanoi – The capital of Vietnam, to learn about the thousand year old Vietnamese culture, enjoy the delectable Hanoian cuisine, understand the historical importance of the place and to explore Halong bay – one of The Seven Natural Wonders of the world.
We also offer students the chance to volunteer with us to help the local community, experience the local culture and share what they have learnt in life with local students. On this trip, students will get to go for the Wildlife tour in Cuc Phuong National Park and Van Long Natural Reserve; join environment games, take part in the environment work-shop with our specialist and share their own ideas to protect the environment and help the sustainable tourism development plan.
Day 1: Hanoi –Arrival (L/D)
Meet upon arrival Noi Bai airport, Teachers and students will be transferred to hotel in Hanoi city center. Check in hotel and take rest of the day at leisure.
12:00 PM. Lunch will be served at the fine local restaurant
13:00 PM. Start our Hanoi half day city tour
On this afternoon city tour, our teacher and students will take a 20 minute drive from our hotel to the very impressive Museum of Ethnology, among the finest of Vietnam’s museums. We will see many exhibits, photographs and actual houses inhabited by some of the 54 ethnic groups people in Vietnam. It will offer a truly colorful introduction to these ethnic tribes.
17:00 PM. We will enjoy an one hour cyclo tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, the focal point of the city.
18:00 PM. Enjoy Water Puppet Show at Thang Long Water Puppet house.
19:00 ~ 21:30 PM. Enjoy dinner at hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (overnight on junk) (B, L, D)
7:30 AM. Breakfast at hotel
08:30 AM. Our teacher and students will be picked up at hotel then transferred to Halong bay.
12.30 PM. Arrive to Ha Long public pier. Warmly welcomed by friendly crew. Welcome drink upon arrival, the Halong Sails Cruises. Check in procedure.
13.00: Luch is served at the restaurant. Enjoy fresh local speciality whilst cruising among thousands of karst islets. Pass by the most breathtaking scenery such as Dog Islet, Insence Burner Islet, Hoa Cuong Floating Village, Fighting Cocks Islet and Thumb Islet.
15.30 – 17.30 PM. Visit Surprising Cave.
Cruise to other side and have a remote watch from boat to Pearl Farm.
Return to Titop Island. Make various options for doing sightseeing with opened panoramic view at the peak of the mountain. Going for a walk on sandy beach or swimming in the emerald water surface of the World Heritage Site.
17.30 PM. Back to the anchorage for the night. Availability for kayaking (if booked in advance) and swimming from the boat. Enjoy the sunset from topdeck.
19.00 PM. Dinner is served at the restaurant. You would be appetitzing by valuable dishes, prepared by an experienced chef. Relax and experience a new life style in Ha Long by night. Taste some drink or take part to catch some squid with friendly crew (depends on the squid season). Try to be a singer by singing with karaoke system on board. Back to cabin and have a good sleep.

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L, D)
6.00 AM. Wake up in the early morning. Enjoy fresh air and breeze from the sea. Sunrise is over Ha Long bay.
7.00 AM. Western breakfast is served at the restaurant.
8.00 – 10.00 AM. Have a sampan to visit Tunnel Cave (Hang Luon) by going through the moutain. Availability for kayaking (if booked in advance). After the Tunnel Cave, set sail to have a continuation of cruise, pass by Human Head Islet, Turtle Islet and head to Ha Long pier by cruising in Bai Tu Long bay which is close to the city and gradually become a thriving region.
10.00 AM. Check out procedure.
10.30 PM. Lunch is served at the restaurant. Last chance to get more energy from delicious dishes that excited you throughout the trip to next destination.
11.30 AM. Time to say good bye to crew. Have a short transfer to the Ha Long public pier.
16:00 PM. Arrive Hanoi, transfer to hotel, take a short rest.
18:00 PM. Enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Hear the Vietnamese traditional instruments and singing from the live musicians who play throughout the show.
19:00 PM. Enjoy our dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4 : Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Cuc Phuong (B/L/D)
In the morning after having breakfast we will proceed from the hotel, then drive to the rural village about 110 kilometers from Hoa Lu town to help the people by re-making the old house-wall as well as repairing the roof that has been leaking as many years.
Upon arrival the group will be split into 2teams: group 01 will follow by the local carpenters to rebuild the house as we have to remove the old walls then replace via new walls, as well as our group will learn how to cut the bamboo, woods, nail to make the wall that will be cover by thatch to rebuild the old wall of the house.
The other group will be help to clean the environment by clearing the plastic substance/or rubbishes in the village as well as to clear the grass nearby the house-compound to keep the village in clean.
Please be not: we won’t go back town for lunch as our lunch will be packed with us for 2days due our CIP.
12:00 AM: Our lunch will be serve at local restaurant in Tam Coc.
After lunch at restaurant in Tam Coc, we take 2 hour – boat trip on the scenic Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc which is known as Halong Bay on land. Boating in a sampan on the winging river watching the local life is an excellent experience.
Then take a short cycling on country road to visit Bich Dong pagoda. Then drive to Cuc Phuong National Park in late afternoon.
19:00 PM. Enjoy dinner at Cuc Phuong Lodge.
After dinner, have 30 minute seminar on your own topic. And then watch and join ethnic people dancing show.

Day 5: Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit Cuc Phuong Tourist Center where national park officer will give you introduction and variety of cientific information about fauna, flora and values of this national park. Then, go to visit Primate Rescue Center, which is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, breeding, research and conservation of the endangered primates of Vietnam.. Next, go to visit the world of turtle in Turle Rescue Center, where you can see turtles running under your feet and learn about the habit of variety of turtle species in Vietnam. Drive futher into the forest and start jungle trail to discover the variety of fauna and flora of the forest .Visit Cho trees – the huge ones would take ten arms length in circumference and the Cave of prehistoric man. After dinner and meeting at the hotel, join farewell party with camp fire and team building games. Overnight at resort in Cuc Phuong.

Day 6: Cuc Phuong – Hanoi – Departure (B/L)
After early breakfast, set off to Van Long National Reserve. We will take a 2 hour trip boating on scenic lake to see Delacour’s Langur in the wild – the endemic primate of Vietnam that you cannot see them anywhere else in the world. Return to Hanoi.
Today students will have their free time for last minute shopping under teachers’ control. Then transfer back to the airport for flight to home. Trip concluded.
