Itinerary
This Explore Northern Vietnam & Cambodia Tour starts in Hanoi and ends in Siem Reap. In Vietnam, the trip focuses in the north with Hanoi & Halong Bay. In Cambodia, the trip focuses on Angkor Temple Complex in Siem Reap, giving you the opportunity to visit 2 World Heritages Sites in Vietnam and Cambodia. Beautiful sights and our friendly tour guides make it an amazing experience.
Day 1/21 Aug:Arrival Hanoi
Accommodation: Silk Path Hotel – Deluxe Double Rooms
Arrival at Noibai airport, Green Discovery Indochina’s tour guide and driver will pick us up and transfer to hotel in the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2/22 Aug: Hanoi Half Day City Tour (D)
Accommodation: Silk Path Hotel –Deluxe Double Rooms
In the afternoon, the tour guide will meet at the lobby of the hotel and we will have half day to visit Hanoi city. Firstly we will visit Temple of Literature, then we take cyclo to visit Hanoi Old Quarters. Finally we watch a Water Puppet Show and have dinner at fine restaurant in the city. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3/23 Aug: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Accommodation: Emotion Halong Cruise – Deluxe Double Rooms
8am: The tour guide will pick us up at hotel and we take a 3-hour scenic drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay.
12h00-12h30: Arrive in Tuan Chau Tourist Wharf. Transfer to Halong Emotion Boat by tender
12h30: Welcome cocktail on the boat and check in to your private cabin.
13h15-14h15: Lunch buffet served on board, during cruising toward Ha Long bay.
14h45: Arrive in Surprise cave, explore the Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long bay.
16h00: Stop Titop beach for available activities as:
- See view on sundeck, relaxing in restaurant.
- Kayaking and Swimming.
- Take an overview of Halong City from Titop peak.
Or requested activities such as: Massage service (you made contact with tour guide or reception).
17h30: Stop in row of Ho Dong Tien area (near Drum Cave) for overnight.
19h30: Have dinner with seafood provided by Ba Hang fishing village.
21h00-22h00: Join “Happy Hour “Program
22h00-24h00: Freely enjoying the beauty of Ha long at night, join us with one of the optional activities:
- Enjoy chatting at Bar.
- Enjoy night fishing.
- Relax and spend a romantic night on Emotion Cruise
Day 4/24 Aug: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Siem Reap (B/Br)
Flight to Siem Reap at 1920/2100 by Vietnam Airlines
Accommodation: Tara Angkor Hotel – Superior Double
6h00: Practice Tai Chi on the Sundeck
7h00-7h30: Start your day with a light breakfast. During breakfast, cruising to explore other part of Halong Bay, admire the beauty of one in seven new wonder in the world.
7h45: Cooking class by chef cook of the Emotion Boat on the sundeck.
8h30 – 9h30: Pass through fishing village, visit the pearl tourist village.
9h40: Check out and take all luggage outside of your cabin, cruise back to the Tourist Wharf through Ha Long bay.
10h00: Have brunch and clear bills.
11h30: Back to the Tourist Wharf
12h00: Departure to Hanoi. Then we go to airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Arrival Siem Reap, the tour guide will pick us up and transfer us to hotel. We are free time to relax. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 5/25 Aug: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat (B/L)
Accommodation: Tara Angkor Hotel – Superior Double
If you are a real early-bird, today you have the chance to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat. From the red glow, to the colors of sparkling sun light over the temple, it is a sight you will never forget. Breakfast in the hotel then we drive through the countryside past small villages to visit the temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. Banteay Srei is one of the most attractive Khmer temples with its red sandstone carvings.
In the afternoon explore Angkor Wat and enjoy the sunset from the hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 6/26 Aug: Angkor Temple Complex (B/L)
Accommodation: Tara Angkor Hotel – Superior Double
Today after breakfast we will start our visit of the amazing temples complex of Angkor. We will begin to explore the complex of Angkor Thom. We have chance to see a massive perimeter wall and a moat with five monumental gates and covers an area of more than ten square kilometers, the Baphuon and the Terrace of Elephants, the Bayon with a total of 54 towers elaborately decorated with 216 enormous and enigmatic smiling faces. The numerous other structures of this fortified city are the Terrace of the Leper King, the Phimeanakas, Preah Palilay, Tepranom, Preah Pithu, North & South Kleang and Prasat Sour Prot.
We have lunch at Aha Restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit Ta Prohm. The principal singularity of Ta Phrom is that it has not been cleared from the thick jungle, as the rest of the Angkor Complex has been. It looks nearly the same as in the descriptions of the first French explorers, shrouded in undergrowth and in the huge roots of old Banyan trees. Overnight in the hotel in Siem Reap
Day 7/27 Aug: Siem Reap Departure (B)
We are free time to relax or go shopping before the tour guide will transfer us to airport for departure flight.End of services!
