The Chin people are one of the hill tribe. In the 1891 Burma census, the Chin ethnology is dismissed due to the hill tribe. The Chin people are found in the Chin State of Burma. And the Hill people of Zomi are found in the whole of Chin State, Kale town and Saggaing region of Burma. In the 2014 Myanmar ethnic census, the ethnic group or nationality for the Chin people is Zomi. Other tribes, i.e. Lai, Mara, and Matu are smaller groups within the larger Chin group. Therefore, the Chin person means those who inhabited the Chin state.

DETAIL ITINERARY
Day01: Arrival Yangon (By Car/ By Boat) (-/ L/ D)
Arrival Yangon International Airport, our experienced guide will welcome you by your name.
Transfer to hotel & check in.
Start to visit downtown area sightseeing, where can see “City Hall, Sule Pagoda (Ancient Mon Style Pagoda), Maha Bandoola Garden, the independence monument is situated inside its.
The British Colonial Buildings along the way of Pansoden Street.
Take the Yangon – Dala Ferry Boat to get the experience of local ways of life.
Sunset at the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda “2600 years old”
Overnight at Yangon. (Lunch & dinner at local restaurant)
Day02: Yangon – Bagan – Kampelett (By Flight/ By Car) (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast at hotel. Drive to airport for flight Bagan.
Arrival, depart from Bagan airport , passing through the oasis area with big mountains and ranges (7hours drive).
Kanpalet is a very beautiful hill station 4000 feet above sea level.
Enjoy the sunset at Kampelett.
Overnight at Kampelett. (Lunch & dinner at local restaurant)
Day03: Kampelett – Mt. Victoria – Aye Village (By Car) (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, check out at hotel.
Morning drive from Kanpalet at 8:30am to the trekking point (one hour drive).
Trek to Mt Victoria, one of the country’s national parks.
The total two and half hour trek is from the base camp to the summit and then back to a different base camp.
Then transfer Aye village by car (one hour drive).
Overnight at Aye Village (Lunch & dinner at local restaurant)
Day04: Aye Village – Mindat (By Car) (B/ L/ D)
Early in the morning enjoy the sunrise and explore the ways of life of the Chin hill tribe in Aye village.
Breakfast and then continue to Shame village by car (45 minutes’ drive).
Trek to Kyedoe village (45 minutes trek) where you can observe the culture and tradition of the Chin hill tribes.
Their way of life is very different to the Burmans from the time they are born to their death.
In the afternoon enjoy the Chin traditional dance. In this village, they sacrifice animals such as bulls, pigs and mithuns for spiritial reasons.
Every household in the village is decorated with the skull of bulls, goats and wild animals they got from the forest.
To the villagers, there is a sense of pride to decorate their houses with these skulls because it shows their power, wealth and prestige.
They record how many animals they sacrificed by decorating a large wood spike with different carving for different meanings. Visit to Lote-Bell village, Pukwan village and walk down to a string bridge built across Makee creek for one and half hours. Crossing Makee creek you can meet with your car again
Then drive back to Mindat (45minutes by car). Overnight in Mindat. (Lunch & dinner at local restaurant)
Day05: Mindat – Bagan (By Car) (B/ L/ D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the small market of the town and proceed to a small village where you can enjoy nose-flute performed by Makaan ladies (Makaan tribe).
Leave Mindat at around 10 in the morning.
Drive 6 hours to Pakukku passing through Kyauk-Htu and Pauk townships. (Just 45 minutes’ drive from Pakukku to Bagan crossing Pakukku Bridge, the longest bridge in Myanmar)
Arrival Bagan, transfer to hotel & check in. Overnight at Bagan. (Lunch & dinner at local restaurant)
Day06: Bagan – Yangon (Departure) (By Flight/ By Car) (B/ L/ -)
After breakfast, check out at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon
Arrival Yangon, visit to artificial Kandawgyi Lake. Enjoy shopping at Bogyoke Market, also known as Scott’s Market
Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure. Have as safety flight back to your home back. (Lunch at local restaurant). Tour ends.
