Bac Ha Ultimate Trekking Tour – 6 Days/ 7 Nights is provided in the remote areas in Bac Ha District, Lao Cai Province. This 7 days trip allows you to explore remote hill tribe villages, inhabited by the H’mong (Black Hmong, Blue Hmong and Flower Hmong), the Dzao (Red Dzao, Black Dzao and Dzao Tien), the Tay, Dzay, the Nung, Phu La ethnic minorities…and ultimate trekking to the beautiful hill tribe villages and surrounding area of Bac Ha district.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Trek from Bac Ha to Ta Van Chu (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 2: Trek from Ta Van Chu to Lung Phinh (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

DETAIL ITINERARY
Night 1: Hanoi Train station – Lao Cai (-/-/-)
Our Green Discovery Indochina’s tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Hanoi, then transfer you to Hanoi train station, take a night train to Lao Cai.
Overnight on the train.
Day 1: Lao Cai – Trek from Bac Ha to Ta Van Chu (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
Our Green Discovery Indochina’s tour guide and driver will pick up you from Lao Cai train station. Then depart upward 70km to Bac Ha. Have breakfast on the way then start our trekking day. Passing through Flower ethnic minority, enjoy talking with local people and beautiful landscapes. We will have picnic lunch under the shade. Arrive home-stay in Ta Van Chu village; we will walk around the H’mong ethnic village. Our dinner will be served at local family, overnight on the stilt-house.
Distance: Approximate 20km, altitude: 1350m, elevation: 350m, trekking hour: approximate 5-6hours
Day 2: Trek from Ta Van Chu to Lung Phinh (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast in home-stay, we will trek down hills passing the rice terraces in the morning. Downhill to Can Cau. Trek up to the hills again to Lu Than village then arrive Lung Phinh, stay overnight in the family of Phu La ethnic minority.
Distance: Approximate 17 km, altitude: 1150m, elevation: 300m, trekking hour: approximate 5hours
Day 3: Lung Phinh to Na Lo (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast at home-stay, we will start our trekking day. We will trek to Lung Phinh market. Enjoy stunning view and colorful of the market, discover colorful dresses of local H’mong ethnic minority. Have lunch on the top of the mountain. Trek down to Thai Giang Pho village then arrive Na Lo, stay overnight in the family of Tay ethnic minority.
Distance: Approximate 19 km, altitude: 920m, elevation: 300m, trekking hour: approximate 5 -6hours
Day 4: Na Lo – Ngai So – Nam Mon (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
Start trek from the home-stay to the point where you can start trek up hill to Ngai Thau then down to Ngai So and have lunch here. Down hills to Coc Cai Ha, a village of Nung Tribe then arrive another Tay ethnic village via rice fields, stay overnight on the stilt-house.
Distance: Approximate 17 km, altitude: 780m, elevation: 200m, trekking hour: approximate 5 -6hours
Day 5: Nam Mon Ha – Nam Lan – Nam Ke – Coc Ly market – Lao Cai train station (Breakfast/ Lunch/ -)
Trekking to Coc Ly market that likes a small festival of the local with fully culture in the north of Vietnam. Arrive Bao Nhai to have lunch then car transfer to Lao Cai train station, take a night train to Hanoi.
Distance: Approximate 10 km, altitude: 450m, elevation: 150m, trekking hour: approximate 3hours.
Day 6: Hanoi Arrival (-/-/-)
Upon your arrival Hanoi train station, be picked up and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Take the rest of the day at your own leisure. Tour ends.
