Matt Kourevellis (Mr)

Matt

Matt Kourevellis grew up in Australia with a love for the outdoors. As a child, he enjoyed many holidays in the Australian wilderness. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the Australian army where he was able to see a lot of Australia, and gained a lot of skills in bush survival, along with a drive for adventure. After the Army experience he tried his hand at various jobs while taking every opportunity to see more of Australia. Not satisfied with what his work was offering, he sought out a career working in the natural environment. After three years at Deakin University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science, majoring in Conservation Ecology. A lot of this study involved management of fauna and flora, along with visitor management in National Parks and other protected areas. Upon completion of his studies he began to venture abroad and fell in love with South East Asia. He has spent a lot of time in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam (which he now calls his second home). While in Vietnam, he began as a Marketing Manager with the Green Discovery Indochina team.
