Mai Chau Lodge is situated in mountainous countryside 135km South-west of Hanoi. A three-star boutique resort, Mai Chau Lodge was built in 2007 and has currently 16 rooms and expected to extend to 60 rooms at the end of 2013. It is largely staffed by local ethnic minority people as part of an initiative to bring economic success whilst preserving the culture and heritage of this remote region.
